Refresh Regroup Remember

Refresh Regroup Remember

Refresh, Regroup, Remember, I don’t know about you, but these last couple of days have been so relaxing. I hope they have been for everyone else as much as one can in these strange times we are living in.

Refresh, Regroup, Remember sunrise

Sometimes I need to take a break and just get lost in nature, physically and mentally. My husband and I have been doing that over the last couple of days. I don’t like to let life become a routine, that is when I change it up and turning off the internet is such a great way to do that.

And because of the Thanksgiving weekend, we had fun sharing memories of the past with each other, going for walks.

Back in the day there wasn’t any traveling for my family during the holidays. We just stayed home together and called others on the phone to say hi. Or wrote an actual letter on paper and sent it. What fun to remember and laugh. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

  1. Good day everyone, my name is kristy and I’m here to testify about the good things God has done for me through Dr Terry.I was diagnosed of herpes for about ten years and I have been to so many hospital but nothing could be done .I spent thousand of dollars going to hospital all to no avail.Last moth I went to Germany for an official trip.while in the train,I heard a man talking on phone about how he got cured with herbal medication by Dr Terry and I laughed knowing how much I have spent on medical appointment so I thought it was incurable but something told me to try the herbs and I had to take Dr Terry number from him.I contacted Dr Terry, he sent me the herbs and to God be the glory ,herpes of ten years plus is completely gone .Please for your own safety you can reach him on his whatsapp number and I assure you, you will be free within two weeks. His herbs are superb .I have tested it and I’m a living witness .His whatsapp is +4915219358819

  2. Sounds like an excellent idea, to refresh & recharge in nature. Thank you for sharing your wonderful photography, Sandra πŸ™‚

  3. Beautiful sunrise photos Sandra. They say this is traditionally the busiest travel weekend of the year, even more so than Christmas. We stayed close to home too. The one and only time my parents and I visited my grandmother on American Thanksgiving was the first year we moved here and we had a bad snowstorm which closed the main expressway from Toronto to Detroit down. We ended up spending another night at my grandmother’s house so my father lost a day’s pay and I lost a day at school.

    1. Yes, my sister usually has a huge thanksgiving thing on her husbands side of the family. And this year they stayed home and I asked her if she enjoyed it more because she did not have to get out in the cold. She said yes, that it was nice to just stay home for once.

      1. Yes, sometimes it is nice to just stay home and not have the big gathering. I had a small family so it was just my parents and me and we would sometimes go to my grandparents house, but after we moved here, just us. I can’t imagine a large gathering of people at a holiday dinner since I never had that before.

  4. I’m glad you’re enjoying your family. I make it a point to turn off the electronics whenever I can. Your World is beautiful I’m glad you share it with us

    Keep sharing and keep Laughing

    1. Thank you very much Mr.Ohh, it sure makes a difference when you don’t see all the news and such. Have a wonderful day. πŸ™‚

  5. Thank you for your beautiful photos. Good suggestions on how we can redefine this holiday season to be just as inspired only in different ways. i was already planning on sending out some handwritten notes on lovely note cards to be an encouragement to some others that are going through tough times. Now I will be sure to do it!

    1. Yes this is a good year to go back to sending Christmas cards. I am going to do that, I loved getting them and I have not gotten one in years. Everything is on the Computer. Thank you.

      1. I love sending them because I know how much they’re appreciated. When I’ve headspace I’ll write some more. At the moment I’m not asking more people for their addresses but my friends get letters. Even though they say nothing!

        1. Yes, the last time I sent some, I received no thank you or acknowledgement that they even got it. But guess what, the same thing happens today with text and emails. People are so busy they sometimes don’t even have time to say thank you.

  6. Inspiring photos – and words. Getting lost in nature physically and mentally. Also, change up the routine – by turning off the internet. Calling someone to say hi. Refresh. Regroup. Remember. Thanks for reminding me of all these good things. Enjoy your day!

  7. I did get some relaxing in yesterday finally, but I have not taken any pictures in a while-of anything really! Oh, yesterday I did snap a shot of my husband’s meat he was cooking in preparation for making today’s boudin. I even forgot to take pics of my guests and family during Thanksgiving! I was too busy serving and visiting I guess. Your pics are gorgeous!

    1. Yes, sometimes just enjoying the moments without distractions is so much fun. There are days I don’t take my camera out as well. πŸ™‚

  8. The pictures are so beautiful, Sandra. They indeed invite to reminiscence. I’m glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving time. ❀️
