The Sun and Moon Eclipse, this is the clearest photo I could get of the moon passing by the sun. I did not have the correct filter for my camera lens, so I held up a smaller filter that I did have, in front of the lens which caused a little motion blur. But it was still fun to try and capture this photo despite the mosquitos trying to bite us. I created a video as well, with a birds eye view of the sunrise via my husbands drone. You can click the link here; Sunrise and the Eclipse, to see the video.
Sunrise at the Lake, we went out early on the morning there was the moon/sun eclipse and this is what we saw. I tried to get a photo of the moon passing in front of the sun. But the mosquitos were really bad here by the water. I did have a mosquito netting on, but I did not have the correct filter for the camera lens so they came out pretty blurry. Maybe next time, but it was still a beautiful sunrise.
I See Skies of Blue and Clouds of White, The bright blessed days, the dark sacred nights. And I think to myself, What a wonderful World. For those of you who might remember this song by Louis Armstrong, I put the song at the bottom of the post.
I thought of this song when I woke up to a sky of blue after a nights rain. I have never seen so much blue upon blue with just a touch of white. A work of Art like no other, painted by the Hands of Time.
The Ever Changing Beauty of Sunrises, these photos were all taken on the same morning as I watched the sunrise starting from blue hour, to golden hour and then last, sunrays reaching through the heavens.
Daryl Madden took some of my words from a previous post and made them into this beautiful poem. I would like to share them again here;
Happy New Year 2021, and what a way to start this beautiful day. I looked out the window as the pink light was dancing across the sky. Snow covered trees and the moon up above.
Genesis tells you this, there is eternity in the Spirit. By the time your eyes open in the present the future has already become your past. When the moon is overhead a new day starts.
The sun came out today for the first time in many days, its rays were stretching out through the snow as I walked around enjoying the warmth of its light.
As I enter this new year on such a bright beautiful day, I pray for strength and peace for everyone. To stand strong in these trying times, to know and understand that we were created for a purpose.
Listen to your heart thoughts of you, knowledge is always stronger than wisdom. But they cannot exist without the other. One does not rule over the other, they are co-joined, separate but equal.
Such beauty from sunup to sundown, with the soft colors of the morning light, to the golden shadows as the sunsets to another day.
Life is a teaching experience we are either taught or we mimic back. Embrace Life
Golden Silk in Nature, I love the silks on Milk Weed plants in the fall. And seeing them at sunrise is even better. They take on a golden color as the sun is rising behind them. If you look close enough there is actually more colors, red and green show up as well from the sun rays in the silks. (video below).
This video shows the location of the sunrise where I took the photos above. The video is a little long, I had to use my You Tube footage to apply the video to my post. For some reason my shorter videos are not working as well.
December Brings Pink Skies, all day yesterday the clouds were dancing in the sky. They started out the most gorgeous pink. When you see pink sky’s in the morning this time of year, you have to get out there quickly for the pink disappears very fast.
Sunlight in December has a longer distance to travel through the sky before it reaches you. The colors that make it to your eyeballs are pinks and oranges and reds, because they are less likely to be scattered by the atmosphere. In turn, the morning sunlight fills the sky with a blaze of pinks and reds.
Mr. Ohh had a great idea yesterday. To take a picture everyday from the same spot, for a few days. To see the changes that take place during the sunrise. December is a great time to do this. I will post them after a collect some images. Thank you Mr. Ohh :).
Refresh, Regroup, Remember, I don’t know about you, but these last couple of days have been so relaxing. I hope they have been for everyone else as much as one can in these strange times we are living in.
Sometimes I need to take a break and just get lost in nature, physically and mentally. My husband and I have been doing that over the last couple of days. I don’t like to let life become a routine, that is when I change it up and turning off the internet is such a great way to do that.
And because of the Thanksgiving weekend, we had fun sharing memories of the past with each other, going for walks.
Back in the day there wasn’t any traveling for my family during the holidays. We just stayed home together and called others on the phone to say hi. Or wrote an actual letter on paper and sent it. What fun to remember and laugh. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.
Good Morning this Thanksgiving Day, from the Light of the Morning Sun here in my corner of the world, to yours. I wish you all a wonderful day of thanks giving. May we all be blessed and may we always see His Light at the start of everyday.
For those who do not have Thanksgiving, I wish you a wonderful day and weekend as well.
Wednesday November One One, I woke up this morning and the number one was on my mind. I sat down at the computer and these four pictures were in the first folder I opened.
I thought, One bird, One flower, One bridge. And than I was wondering what the date was today, so I looked at my phone and it said 11. To all the Veterans, thank you. To our son who is in Italy today (Air Force), thank you.
One particle of pure energy, One Light. Intelligent design of Creation yours , mine, not the gods of man. Same thought, one probability wave, governing all.
