Golden Pancakes with Syrup
Golden Pancakes with Syrup, or is it? Growing in the wild, shinning with the utmost glory of the warmest color of golden brown. Laced with droplets of syrup/water to make them even more edible in appearance.
Well, I have no idea what kind of mushroom these are, but I am going to guess they probably might not be edible just because they look so good.
The water droplets actually did look like syrup, I did not touch them. But it had not rained at all when I saw these. So it could be a syrup substance coming from the mushroom to make them look more enticing.
We did leave them alone and in this whole park that we hiked at, this is the only place we saw these mushrooms. So they must be special, even the park workers mowed around them. Just a little golden nugget to start your day.

Thank you 🙂
They sure do look like pancakes and syrup – I wonder what kind of mushrooms they are? There is that giant fungus in the U.P. – have you ever been to see it or photograph it Sandra? Here is the link about it, if not:

I have not heard of this, so very interesting. I will have to read more about it. There sure are some amazing wonders around the world.
I’m glad I passed it along to you then Sandra. I have not seen this very large fungus but was listening to the radio one time and someone was on describing it so I Googled it at that time and read about it, how old it was and how extensive it is. I was pretty amazed. Yes, there are lots of amazing wonders and some that are not well known like this. I hope you get to see it one time.
How pretty – rich and colorful!
Thank you very much 🙂
They do look like golden pankcakes with syrup … yummy! 🙂 Great shots of this fabulous fungi!
Thank you Peter, it is amazing every time I come across a new mushroom. These sure stood out in the grass. 🙂

Keep Laughing
Always Mr.Ohh, laughing cures almost everything.
Eating those pancakes might just make you see things, or worse … 🙂
Definitely, 🙂 the water droplets were sure pretty though.
You sure had me fooled.. Our forests are full of mushrooms which I don’t touch.. 😉
I know, and I am guessing if they look really good they probably are not good for you 🙂
They look delicious. Now where’s the bacon?
Yes, that would be perfect 🙂
Though they are beautiful, I would not eat them.
Thanks, Sandra. Have a great day.
Me either Francine, 🙂 a wonderful day for you also.
Beautiful.
Thank you very much Tim.
Nice! Now I’m hungry.
🙂 I know, they sure look like pancakes.
It’s beautiful. 😊
Thank you 🙂
What a wonderful golden colour, they remind me of the gold-foil covered chocolate coins I used to get in my Christmas stocking, though your pancake analogy is better with the drops as syrup. Lovely.
Thank you , I remember those gold chocolate coins now that you mentioned it. Those were so fun to get. 🙂
Great pictures but I would not eat these pancakes 🙂 Stay healthy 😉
Thank you, I would not either, even though they do look better than the pancakes I make. 🙂
😀 This is amazing! Now I’m hungry! 🙂
:), I know, every time I see this picture, they look way better than the actual pancakes I make.
