Top of the Morning to You
Top of the Morning to You, this phrase came to me when I looked at this first photo. Because I am looking at the top of her head. It is a good way to start the week, looking at Mrs. Cardinal here, her beau is farther down on the post.
She almost appears to have a smile to me, with bright eyes. Of course I took this photo before we had all the snow.
The photos below are of the Male Cardinal. These two have been a couple in my backyard for years now. He keeps guard all summer while she is on her nest and he does a great job of keeping intruders away.
