Autumn Song Birds

Autumn Song Birds

Autumn Song Birds, it has been awhile since I photographed song birds in my back yard. They have been gone for awhile, but today I put some feed out on my little table and the sun came out for just a little bit. So I set the camera up and Mrs. Cardinal came by for a visit first, looking all spiffy in her crown of red feathers.

  1. Great pictures as always But I notice there is no Mr. Cardinal anywhere around. she is by herself search for something. Then suddenly a mysterious male in gray shows up. Is the Mrs. getting a little bird on the side? Hmmmm

Keep a song in your heart and Laughter on you lips

  2. I love the beautiful photos! I set up a bird feeder outside my kitchen window. I’ve been enjoying seeing the birds come in everyday. Mostly I see blue jays, finches, morning doves and black birds. But this week I had several visits from a female cardinal hope to see more of those ๐Ÿ˜Š

    1. Yes, you will have so much fun with that, the birds are all over my backyard now that is getting colder. I love feeding the birds. They always make me smile. Have a wonderful evening Maria.

  3. I thanks for sharing. Come to think of I havenโ€™t seem anything other than the neighborhood geese, ducks and egrets. We used have a chicken hawk, blue jays and cardinals. Not sure what happened to them. You made me think of them.

    1. I know what you mean, the song birds were gone for awhile here as well, and just this week they started coming back to my feeders.

    1. Yes, I have been seeing photos of waxwings, I never have seen the bird. But they do remind me of the cardinals. ๐Ÿ™‚
