We only stayed a week at this park and then moved farther west to one of the best parks all along the southern border. We had been in the desert for a couple months at this point. Dry, dusty and not much for trees at all.
But what a surprise we found at the next stop, birds, mountain, forest and water. The Chiricahua National Wilderness, just across the border of Arizona.

They look gorgeous. I bet the stars look excellent out there. I can’t even remember when I last saw a star. Stuck in London. London is a great place, but not for stargazing!

Great sunset photo collection! We are leaving on a 24 day western trip, Monday! I suspect have some good tips for us.
How fun, the west is so different and beautiful. We made it to Arizona and them headed north. My favorite states were Nevada, Oregon and , well everything north from there. 😊
