August and Golden Colors, after a hot summer I always look forward to the golden hues of fall. Now technically autumn doesn’t start until September 22nd. But warm colors of gold, yellow and browns are pleasing to the eye and warms the heart.

Fall is our favorite time of the year around my neck of the woods – as you noted, the trees start producing their golden tones and the weather starts being much more pleasant – also start of the heavy ultra marathon season so it also comes with a heavy amount of training ha!
My favorite as well. I love the cooler days after a hot summer. Good thing marathon season is autumn. Easier on the runners. Have a wonderful weekend.

I saw my first golden tree leaves falling and blowing across country roads on my afternoon drive home in fells like 100 plus humidity driven heat . Can’t wait for fall after a day like that.
