Sun Glitter on Water

Sun Glitter on Water

Sun Glitter on Water, no matter how plain the scenery may be getting around us this time of year. The one thing I like to see and makes me smile is Sun Glitter. When sun light sparkles on a lake or river, I can just sit there and watch the light dance in front of my eyes.

Sun Glitter on Water

Well, I like glitter of all kinds. Sparkling lights at Christmas time, my Grandfather always put tinsel on our Christmas tree. That really made my eyes big as a child looking up at that tree with tinsel glistening in the evening light. Must be where it all started for me.

Sun Glitter on Water

We went camping a few weeks ago and there was still some last bits of color hanging on in the forest.

Some lavender flowers that were like ground cover, low to the ground and very delicate.

To the last of some green leaves spread out on the forest floor amongst the dry leaves and twigs. Even though I love flowers and all the vibrant colors. I still get excited to see snow at the beginning of winter. But by February, I am ready for spring again.

  1. That water twinkling is beautiful to see – a perfect sunny day. The snow glistening is pretty too but like you, the first snow is magical but it does get old after a while. I don’t last as long as you to tire of it though. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. I think I’m becoming addicted to your pictures. Don’t stop though The therapy isn’t very expensive.
Love your thoughts but I disagree with you. I never could stand tinsel YEEEECH!!!!!

    1. That is so funny, I have heard other people say that about tinsel. They might not even sell it anymore. Thank you Mr Ohh, ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. I love the change of seasons too. In autumn, once the boats have all the left our marina, the angle of the sun and the sparkle on the water is brilliant but peaceful. Lovely photos, as usual ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. I love when the water sparkles from the sunshine. Sun glitter on water is a great term for it! Beautiful pictures as always! Enjoy your day!

  5. I have to admit, I’ve never thought of taking time to really view and contemplate sun glitter on water – something I will remedy the next time I have the opportunity.
