Pirouette Plié Tour en l’air
Pirouette, Plié, Tour en l’air, What do these words mean? Well, to me these beautiful Egrets look like they are doing a ballet. These words are terms for specific moves for ballet, they mean; a turn in the air; a rotation or spin; bending – of the knee or knees.
I hear; Ta Da,,,, Bravo,,,,
Dance with me 🙂
Adagio; is a succession of slow, soft, lyrical, and continuous movements. Adagio creates the illusion that the positions flow from one into another.
Or they are just scraping for territorial rights. But our imaginations can see something else, something so beautiful. I have never been to a ballet, until today.

Absolutely stunning photos! Egrets are long gone in our area, but they are most commonly found in swamps with a lot of distracting elements surrounding them.
Thank you very much, yes I sure like seeing them in the summer.
Nossa isso tudo e muito hinteressante no nosso dia a dia neh kkkkk muito legal
Thank you very much 🙂
What a fun post Sandra – they sure are beautiful and graceful and yes, you do have to wonder. Their feet didn’t even touch the water at one point, so it is amazing to watch them, or we had you watch them for us, so we could admire those graceful moves.
It was exciting to see them flying so much, we usually only see them standing in water. They can stand still for a long time.
That’s right – I rarely even see them fly, but if they fly, it’s just zipping overhead, but never like you showed them here.
Perfectly captured 👌💓
Thank you. 🙂
Hello..Sandra,I loved ur blog… would u like to guide me… actually I’m new here and I’m about to start blogging as well..but I need guidance..?
Hello, nice to meet you. Welcome to blogging. The best thing about blogging is that you have fun with it. Write about what you like, I am a photographer, so my posts are mostly about nature, photos and occasionally I write what I am thinking about. I will be glad to help if I can. Thank you. 🙂
Animated! Great sharp shots, Sandra!
Thank you Kent, they are amazing birds.
The pictures are great. But Egret Ballet?? You are either working for Disney or you had a little to much holiday cheer

It is so nice to see that ballet still exists in this darkness
That is so true Don. Nature knows no difference.
Magnificant pictures. I went to 2 performances of the Ballet of Maurice Béjart (Lausane – Switerland) when he was on tour in Belgium. The last performance Maurice Béjart made his presence on stage. A year later he died. If interested, I send you a link about the ballet company :
