One More Bridge

One More Bridge

One More Bridge – one more bridge I did not cross is this first one here I photographed in Cloudcroft New Mexico. This one is just for looking at, it is not in use anymore.

I will finish this week off with more bridges, a view of the world around us, bridges that connect you and me.

  1. Nice photos and quote: “bridges that connect you and me.” Somehow there was a bridge that connected us! Likely your photography and the fact that you mentioned Iowa in your post! I have been around the world, but Iowa is still home!

    1. Yes, funny how we can connect so easy now with people all around the world with technology. I have been enjoying your photographs for a long time. A bridge between two worlds. 😊

    1. Yes, it is amazing how they decorate that little bridge. It is at Bellingrath Gardens in Mobile Alabama. A must see if you are ever in the area. they have acres of flowers and they change them out for every season. Amazing the work they do at this place.

  2. You sure captured images of different bridges here – that first one looks interesting, a trestle bridge and that bridge with the flowers is very pretty.

      1. I like that covered bridge in Heritage Park. After I saw the movie “The Bridges of Madison County” I wished I could visit the bridge where they filmed the movie. There were more than one bridge that Clint Eastwood’s character was photographing.

    1. Those old ones look so cool though compared to the new ones. It has the look of that old I74 bridge that they just replaced in Davenport over the Mississippi river. I never did like going over that old bridge, it made me nervous. I have to say the new one is much better.

        1. I had not heard of it and just looked it up on You Tube, my stomach was turning when the person pointed his camera over the edge of the bridge. I would love to see it but I am not sure I could cross. It looks plenty wide and the lumber in good shape though. What a bridge.

          1. It’s not a bad crossing when it’s not swaying. Just don’t look down between the boards. Great views of the Gorge from the middle.

Love to Hear from You
