Beautiful scenery Sandra … funny, just before the two Pelicans appeared, I was thinking that was the venue where you’ve photographed Pelicans in the past, then boom … they were there!
Yes, I do have a backlog of photos. I tend to go back to the ones I missed. You know how that is. 😊
🙂 Oh yes, I know about backlogged photos all right. Spent most of yesterday doing Friday’s photos, then took the big camera out today and probably took 250 more photos – sigh. I know they are your favorite birds. I went to two big parks today and got a picture of two Sandhill Cranes. I was driving out of Lake Erie Metropark and saw them, turned around, found a place to park and went back. They were far away, but still exciting.
That Pelican shot is a stunner!
Thank you, I laid on the dock with my camera right over the water and here they came , almost tried to grab my camera once. Such funny birds.

Obviously accustomed to humans and/or photographers. It’s not like they can flit out of your viewfinder very quickly though, like songbirds.
