My Day Begins at Sunrise
My Day Begins at Sunrise for me, actually before sunrise. I am always up before the sunrises in anticipation for what is coming as the sun begins to warm the earth.
I watch the horizon, as if I am watching a movie in slow motion. The gorgeous colors of light dancing across the heavens. When you actually stop to see it, I mean really see it. You see its worth, its purpose and its power as the Light of the World.

Wonderful colors. Unfortunately, a bit of a night owl myself so generally if I see the sunrise it’s because I skipped going to sleep that night ha! Enjoyed the video.
On occasion I might get to see the sunset, but I have way more energy in the morning. I think I get that from way back when I was young and getting up early to go fishing with my Grandfather. I have been like that ever since. 😊

This reminds me of a little tradition I need to renew. On New Year’s morning I used to drive out to this spot south of town to a spot in the Nebraska Sandhills where there was no sign of human structures or activity and watch the sunrise. It made a brilliant start to the new year!

Yes, I am dozing off in the afternoon if I sit down. But sometimes I still stay up all day and soon as I put a movie on in the evening, I am out before the credits are done. 😊
