  1. I was ecstatic to get three shots of Hope the Hummingbird last Summer with the digital compact. You have taken things to a whole new level and watching a hummingbird in slow motion is incredible. I was surprised they did a few flybys and buzzing around the feeder before honing in on the port and that long tongue. Interesting how you can see them guzzling the nectar as their throat moves with each gulp. So tiny and precious. P.S. Chloe was cute too. 🙂

  2. Great shots and video. sorry but I didn’t understand a thing about the camera stuff. Somehow I have a mental block when it ccomes to that stuff. But that’s okay because a little mystery makes your work so much more beautiful

  3. Hummingbirds get me excited and I tend to jump up to see them at home, which is not a good idea. thank you for the close up shots and wonderful video. I think you are kind to share with others. – David

    1. Thank you very much David. I appreciate that. Yes. I have one feeder on the railing of the porch and they use it unless you move, then they move. 😊

    1. Thank you Tim, yes this one likes to land on the bird pole, but it is larger than his little feet to hang on to. 🙂

  5. Amazing video of some amazing birds, you are so blessed to be able to catch them in flight like that Sandra. It was also good to hear some one else have a forgetful almost senior’s moment, I know what that is like. Thanks for sharing this beautiful footage.

    1. 😊 thank you. Yes, I am looking right at the bird with its throat flashing red at me and I totally forgot the name of it. 🤔.
