I was ecstatic to get three shots of Hope the Hummingbird last Summer with the digital compact. You have taken things to a whole new level and watching a hummingbird in slow motion is incredible. I was surprised they did a few flybys and buzzing around the feeder before honing in on the port and that long tongue. Interesting how you can see them guzzling the nectar as their throat moves with each gulp. So tiny and precious. P.S. Chloe was cute too. 🙂
They have been coming and going around here. Some days I see them and some I don’t see them at all.
I’m surprised since you have such a nice display of flowers that are there, but maybe they are busy raising little ones.
Yes, that is what I am thinking, they are nesting.
Great shots and video. sorry but I didn’t understand a thing about the camera stuff. Somehow I have a mental block when it ccomes to that stuff. But that’s okay because a little mystery makes your work so much more beautiful

Hummingbirds get me excited and I tend to jump up to see them at home, which is not a good idea. thank you for the close up shots and wonderful video. I think you are kind to share with others. – David
