Towering Cypress Trees
These towering cypress trees & Live oak trees, draped in soft veils of Spanish moss, are perfectly at home in the quiet, waterlogged swamps of the South.
Built for this environment, their wide, flared bases anchor them in saturated soil, while their roots thrive where most trees would suffocate.

Even their “knees” rise above the waterline, helping them breathe in a landscape that is constantly flooded.

It’s remarkable to witness how they not only survive here—but flourish—while in other regions, like where I’m from, they simply couldn’t exist.

Standing among them, you can’t help but feel the intention behind it all—how every place on this earth has its own design, its own rhythm, its own life perfectly suited to belong there.
