The Little Red Squirrel
The Little Red Squirrel, they have been gone for a couple of weeks when the weather was nice. But, we have had some snow the last couple of days, so they are back again. Looking for a little pick me up snack I think. I love the red stripe they have, very showy when the sun is out.
He appears to not be happy that he has a little snow on the roof of his house. Yes, I have seen him go into this bird feeder many times.
Looks like a little bracelet on its hand and if Mr. Ohh is seeing this, I will have to say; ” No, it is not little hand cuffs.” ๐ I am guessing that is what he might see.

What a treat to watch this little fellow!
They are so cute and small. And not very afraid either. ๐
What a cutie pie he is … you captured his spirit Sandra, that look of “where are my treats” as he perches on the bird house. The nerve! I wonder what that mark is as it sure does look like a bracelet?
Thank you Linda, it actually is a piece of the shell of a sun flower seed. ๐
Oh, I should have should of that Sandra – there are sunflower seed shells everywhere under the tree and at the log. It would be great if they missed a few whole ones at the log area as there is lots of mud and they just might grow into flowers, though the geese would likely eat the plant.
Good pictures but I am dissapointed you didn’t cuff him and take him to squirrel prison where he belongs The little hoodlem

Laghter is cheaper than make-up and makes your face prettier
lol, I believe he escaped the handcuffs and only had part of one left on him, he is way smarter than we are I am thinking. ๐
Maybe you could turn him into a very smart coat?
Lol, ๐ฌ๐ ๐ณ
They are mean little things. They are always chasing the grey squirrels. But as you proved, they photograph very well.
Yes, they try to chase all the birds away, but the birds know better and come right back. ๐
These are gorgeous captures!
Thank you Greta ๐
For me the are the most funniest animals in the forest.
Yes, these here are not to afraid of anything and always find a way to get to the feeders no matter where I put them.
it’s an amazement
๐ thank you.
smile
๐ Always.
Such a cute little buddy…they have so much personality!
They do Mary, have a wonderful day.
I miss red squirrels! They were all over the Adirondacks, but are pretty scarce in Tennessee. They have such an interesting and diverse vocabulary!
Yes, they chatter sometimes when my dog is near them. I guess that is what I would call it. When they are sending out a warning and they are not very afraid of me, especially when I bring some food out. Thank you Darren.
So Cute!

This plumpy guy who looks like a fur ball is more agile than the best gymnast. Appearances are misleading ๐
Very much so, I have seen them jumping from tree to tree and they chase each other extremely fast.
