The Beaches are Back
The Beaches are Back, well, at least the beaches in the north country. It is still a bit cold but so nice to see the snow and ice gone. We did get some snow a couple times already this week, but it melts by the afternoon. I was watching the water dripping from the corner of a roof into a bucket and decided to film it in slow motion. That short clip is below.

Indeed beach season
Yes, so good to see them again. π
Beautiful beaches photography, Sandra & I enjoyed your video of close-up movements of water ~ have a wonderful day, my friend ππ
Thank you Phil, you to π
This view though πππ
Thank you very much π
So still and serene Sandra and the drops going into the bucket accompanied by the music lends a little drama to an everyday occurrence. I like how you did that!
Thank you Linda, I was watching the water dripping into the bucket and the splashes were almost mesmerizing. So I had to get the camera out.
Yes, the drip, drip, drip sure can mesmerize you. When we have the very cold weather in the Winter, I always leave the taps on at a trickle overnight. During the day, I leave it dripping … the kitchen sink is aluminum and I try to position the drips down the side, otherwise the sound will zone me out.
Spring has come
Yes, it is so π
smile
Yes, π always.
Beautiful still life captures Sandra, it is hard for us to imagine weather like that here as it never snows but it gets awful hot in summer. The best we get is hail that looks like snow as it melts. π
Yes, I don’t see hail to often. I do believe snow would be better. It can get in the high 90 degrees F here. I don’t much care for that hot.
Welcome to spring You have beeches We have snow

The most wasted of all days is one without laughter
Yes, we keep getting snow, but it melts in the afternoon.
Ours has now stuck foe two days long
It is 60 degrees today, so back to spring again.
WE’re in the forties but maybe tomorrow
Great pics and vid!!
Thank you very much. π
Beautiful video clip, Sandra. Hard to believe that those beaches and sea were covered in snow and ice..
Yes Don, amazing how drastic the change of seasons can be. Thank you Don,
Beautiful photographs as usual, but your comment about the snow and ice being gone is funny. It was in the mid-60s yesterday and I took my wife to her doctor appointment this morning after sweeping over an inch of snow off the car. A bit bizarre. We may have weather in the 70s within a week. Who knows!?
I know Mark, it was snowing really hard about an hour ago and now the sun is out. It has been doing this all week.
Even the hard packed snow when I cleaned our car is already gone. It was nice to watch the snow fall.
I loved seeing the photos and the video. Water has such a calming presence.
Thank you, yes I think so as well. I love sitting by a body of water and just enjoying the waves against a beach.
I can relate to that!

Super Photos Sandraπππ
Thank you very much π
Love these !
Thank you π
I have trouble deciding with of the pictures I like more. I think I’ll go for the first one. It reminds me of the sea, although it must be… Lake Superior?
Yes, you are correct Jo, It does look like an ocean though but the nice thing is it is almost always cold there so there are not to many people on the beaches. I like that. π
Beautiful!!
Thank you π
