Something a Little Different
Something a Little Different, I don’t know what these flowers are but they were growing along the beach of Lake Superior. Sometimes I don’t know if I need to know a name to some of these wildflowers. I just like to enjoy them and know that they will be a surprise next year when I see them again.
I believe I mentioned awhile ago about framing your own photographs and art work. I enjoy sharing them on the web, but I do like to print them and hang them in my home. I have taken up digital painting of my photographs. Where you actually take a paint brush and paint on your photos. Very relaxing to do and amazing what technology can do as well.
Thinking outside of the box, create what your heart and mind sees.

WOW. Beautiful!
Very beautiful, the original shot and/or the digitally painted shot.
Thank you Linda, I do like creating paintings on the computer. I would do it by hand if I had the talent, but drawing is not something I can do.
Drawing is something I hope to get back into when retired. I took a class years ago and enjoyed it. After taking an interpretive walk at one of the metroparks a few years ago, I got some sketch pads, charcoal pencils and a few “how-to books” – they remain shrink wrapped but when retired, I would like to take a painting or drawing class. We have an artist in the Downriver Area who does plein air painting – he and other -plein air artists go to different areas around town, or metroparks, and sketch and/or paint what they see. They take a stool, plunk down and sketch/paint … I think it would be fun!
