Road Alligator

Road Alligator – we were leaving the wildlife refuge area and driving down the last section of road to the exit.

Way up ahead lays this alligator enjoying the sunshine. We stopped the jeep within a range that my telephoto lens could capture this guy with out to much blur and not being to close either.

I stepped out and put the camera next to the ground to get this shot. This is one of my favorite shots. Getting to eye level with wildlife makes for unique photos I think.
