Reflections of Times Past

Reflections of Times Past

Reflections of Times Past We sometimes take Light for granted. It turns out that, with a bit of persuasion, Light would show us things we thought we would never see.  A beautiful reflection of you or me.

  1. Reflection shots have a weird effect of me – by their nature they bring a sense of calm although if I look at it too long I start getting antsy there is a big disruption coming in the water soon after the shot was taken. Maybe I need therapy ha – awesome shots.

    1. Yes, same for me. When you stare long enough a fish jumps and I jump. The second and third photo is that lake in the bird sanctuary at Dauphin and there is one alligator living there, we saw it on warm days.

      1. Now that I look at it, I totally recognize that pond (less scum on it from when I was there back in April) – even saw that gator and have shots of it swimming toward a green heron. Thought I was going to get some interesting behavior shots, but it swerved left when it got within 10 feet of the heron. Shocking that the heron didn’t seem to even care – stupid or brave, not sure which ha!

    1. Thank you very much, I do enjoy seeing a lake like this. With everything reflecting in the water. Very mesmerizing.

  2. Scientists says only a small spectrum of light from the sun enters earth. If the entire spectrum of light enters, the outcome would be disasterous. It’s very interesting to observe how God organized everything for our happy living.
