My Chloee Checking the Flowers

My Chloee Checking the Flowers – She turned 10 years old this month. Such a good dog.

I have had dogs my entire life, they are truly a gift I think. Have a wonderful day. 🙂

  1. Hi Sandra. I was bombarded with “Like spam” the other day in which someone “Liked” almost thirty of my posts all at once, obviously without reading any of the articles. I’m sure this happens to everyone from time to time by bad actors. In my research I cannot find any way to remove them. I asked the person who did it to do so, someone who is a “good Christian,” of course, but the person refuses. Because of this I decided to simply eliminate the ability for any of my readers to “Like’ my posts which you may have noticed and which probably will not be good for my readership. This is probably why the bad actors do this in the first place. Since you are way ahead of me on the technology of this stuff, is there any solution you might be aware of? WP doesn’t help. I’ve already gone that route with no success. Thanks.

    1. Yes, someone did that to mine as well. Turning off the like button is one way, unfortunately having a public site anyone can click multiple like buttons on your page. Most people do that as they are trying to get people to go to their site and like just as many. We are living in an era where younger people thrive on how many likes they get. I will look into it more when I have a chance to get on my computer. I just ignore them when they do that to my site. You can also go into your sites menu to the comment section and delete that person’s comments and or block them. We are traveling right now, going to visit our son in Georgia, hoping to get there before he is deployed. I watched that video, very interesting. I will be doing more research.

      1. Thank you Sandra. I appreciate your time and answers. I hope everything works out well for your son and that y’all get to see him. Have a great time traveling.

  2. The expression is “please don’t eat the daisies” but after reading your post, I realize it is nicer to smell them like Chloee is (or at least admiring them). Happy Birthday Chloee!

    1. That is so nice, yes dogs do not stay with us long enough for sure. But I do love them for as long as I get to have them. 🙂
