Light House Photography
Light House Photography, Well we made it to Georgia and made our way to a place called Tybee Island where I photographed my first Light House. It was in a perfect location not far from the beach.
I definitely would like to find more of these to photograph. There is so much you can do with the photo, they make excellent paintings and look good as black and white as well.
Now I learned how to make the light flash on my photo, as I am writing this we will see if it works when it is posted. Oh, and now we have seen the Atlantic Ocean. 🙂

The light is a surprise, Sandra. 🙂 Excellent lighthouse photos.
Thank you very much Jane, it was fun to make it work. Amazing what one can make on a computer.
I like these photos of this lighthouse Sandra – beautiful and I like the way you did the flashing beacon light – very cool!
Thank you Linda, animation is a pretty cool thing. 😊
An amazing light effect Sandra! If you and your husband ever decide to plan a trip to explore the light houses of the east coast, plan a stop in Cape May, NJ. Cape May Point state park not only has a beautiful light house it also has a bird conservatory with lookouts designed for bird watchers. The park is along the migration paths of many song and shore birds. It’s even home to the “Cape May Warbler”
Thank you so much for the tip Beth, I marked it on my map. This was the first light house I have photographed and it was just perfect. A great location and it was such a pretty color.
Now that brings back memories from our trip there. Love the third picture in the set, gives you a feeling of standing back in time when the lighthouses were the life savers for many a sailor.
Yes, I love them. This is the first one I have photographed that looks like a light house. We have seen a couple up by lake superior that didn’t look like this at all. It was actually hard to tell it was a light house if not for the light on top of the building. 🙂
These are wonderful.
Thank you very much Linda. 😊
beautiful images.
Thank you very much 😊
Is it a movie file or an animate gif? Looks terrific. Love it.
Beautiful shots, Sandra! I love this lighthouse. Your pictures bring back great memories of making the climb to the top, on a very hot and humid May day.
Many Blessings
Lisa
Thank you very much Lisa, that is what I like about photography, that it reminds folks of places they have been or places they might yet see. 😊
Thank you Sandra. Good work. The Lighthouse is a good theme to work with for what it represents. Our Lord truly is a guiding Light. I visited Tybee Island several years ago. It’s a great place as is Savannah. Wonderful people in Georgia.
Very true RJ, His light we can see every where. Tybee island is so nice. Lots of history in Savanna are. We are enjoying it.
Oh, I love, love, love lighthouses, Sandra, and you have photographed this one on Tybee Island so beautifully and artistically.
Thank you Kellye, I love them as well and this is the first one I have photographed. It was in such a beautiful setting with tall dried grass in the for ground. Beautiful place.😊
Oh, I do wish I knew you were here. We live a block from the Tybee Lighthouse! Love the flashing effect. Please share how we can do this? Thanks for sharing and safe travels. DrD
How cool that you live right there. We were visiting our son in Glenville and took a day drive down there. That is my first photograph of a light house and such a beautiful one it is. I love the color of it. I will make a future post on creating the blinking light. I did it in photoshop.
Beautiful!
Thank you very much 😊

Thank you very much Francine 😊
The flashing light is pretty amazing!
Thank you Emilie, I looked it up to see if it was possible to do and it was to my surprise. I love figuring out how to do new things.
Lighthouses are imho so fascinating, probably because we adore the sea and sail a lot when we have the chance – really enjoyed these views. 🙂
Thank you, yes and this light house is just so pretty, I love the color of this one.
I love the animation you made, almost like a real lighthouse 🙂
It was fun to do. Technology is amazing 😊
How magical . The light flashes and the black and white one is a favourite.
Thank you very much, amazing what we can make now a days on the computers 🙂
Yes, that is amazing!
Nice job!
Thank you Marland 🙂
You’re welcome.
Loved than light animation. Beautiful photos . X 💛
Thank you very much Sue
Love these lighthouses.
Gwen.
Thank you very much Gwen 🙂
Absolutely gorgeous!
Thank you very much 🙂
Beautifull
Kind regards,
Hey Sandra, how do you get the flash to work? Is that a video? Works so well!
Thank you Denzil, I would have to go back and look at the tutorial I found on how to make it. It consisted of making different layers and putting a white light on each layer in a different area of the photo. Then it is rendered into one clip. It is all done in photoshop. Amazing what we can create on the computers 🙂
Wow, I wouldn’t be able to do that myself, but marvel at your skill and perseverance to do it yourself!
😊 thank you
Awesome and the flash worked….!
