I Was Waiting For Them
I Was Waiting For Them this morning. Every morning about 4 groups of geese fly over head towards the east. This first photo shows the sun is just coming up as they fly over, so you can see the sun light on the front of their wings. I have not seen geese all summer but come September they do this fly over everyday, I am not sure where they are going and in the evening they fly back towards the west.
They start about 7:30 am, when the sun is just coming up and by the 3rd group that fly’s over, it gets a little brighter and the sky starts turning into a beautiful blue instead of gray.
Have a Wonderful Weekend.

I love hearing the sound of geese in the morning. You’re pictures capture the sheer beauty of them in flight with feathers glimmering with the first rays of light.
Yes Beth, it is such a comforting sounds this time of year, knowing winter is on its way as they honk softly in flight.
Amazing pictures, Sandra
Thank you 😉
He Makes Money Online WITHOUT Traffic!
Most people believe that you need traffic to profit online…
And for the most part, they’re right!
Fact is.. 99.99% of methods require you to have traffic.
And that in itself is the problem..
Because frankly, getting traffic is a pain in the rear!
Don’t you agree?
That’s why I was excited when a good friend told me that he was profiting, but with ZERO traffic.
I didn’t believe him at first…
But after he showed me the proof, it’s certainly the real deal!
I’m curious what your thoughts are.

I always look up at them, whether they are in a perfect V-formation or a sloppy formation. Their nosy honking and grouping together just fascinates me.
Me to Linda, I like it when they are out of formation, they are like confused and still learning how to do it. No one wants to take the lead. 🙂
Yes and I figure the honking is them arguing about it. 🙂
Those are amazing images.Wonderful! Have a Wonderful Weekend.
Thank you so much, you to 🙂
If a group of geese is a gaggle, is four groups of geese a quad-gaggle or a gaggle of gaggles? 😉
I like gaggle of gaggles 🙂
Geese💕bumbs
I like that, I will have to use that one. 😊

Yes, geese moving on here, too.
It is cooling down nicely here 🙂
An assembly location prior to migration? Have a great weekend.
Yes, I believe so. There must be food at the one spot for them. A wonderful weekend to you as well Gerry. 🙂
One word: WOWWWW 😯 🤩
Thank you very much 🙂
You’re welcome ☺️
Ich bekomme jedes Mal Gänsehaut, wenn ich sie in Formation sehe, auf dem Weg zu ihren Schlafplätzen oder zu ihren Futterplätzen.
Schönes Wochenende Sandra.
Yes, me to Rudi, there is just something about watching them fly in formation like that, so peaceful when they travel in the morning light. 🙂
Some great goose shots. Amazing to see them inflight.
Thank you 🙂
Great photos, Sandra
Thank you very much 🙂
Beautiful photos Sandra, thank you for sharing! 🙂
You are very welcome Sam, thank you 🙂
Same here in Cape Town/South Africa. Always in spring time and or fall some flock of waterfowl (I guess herons) fly by at the same time. They come from the wetlands area close by and go … dunnowhere. Maybe some bigger pond or reservoir or something.
Yes, so nice to see them in the spring, I do love photographing the Herons as well. 🙂
A pair from the last photo looks like a natural X-wing from Star Wars 🧑🚀
It does, I never thought of that. 😊
Now I remember! Must be Gold One, probably Wedge Antilles, maybe Tycho Celchu.
They are leaving, aren’t they? Awww…
Yes, I do love hearing them in the morning as they fly over.
The changing seasons are a very active time of year for both the northern and southern hemispheres Sandra, everyone in the birding community is on the move,
Yes, July was so quiet, I did not see hardly any birds and now I get to see more as they migrate through again.
