Floral Art by Design, flowers are so amazing in their details when you look really close at them. They are all so different but are designed with such intricate details that serve a purpose that insures their propagation, by attracting pollinators.

I am not sure what this flower is, but I would guess its name might be similar to corn. Because up close it looks like miniature corn cobs in the center of this vibrant orange flower.

  1. Beautiful and vibrant Sandra – it takes my mind off the weather. Nature does have its beauty, though Mother Nature has been fitful this Summer. We’ve got some pelting rain out there and tornado warning for Trenton, (which is where Elizabeth Park is, just 9 miles from here).

      1. Yes – that’s two too many storms. They did not say it was a tornado 9-10 miles from here last night, just rotation, but that was too close for comfort. We are set to have a very warm September. Probably more volatile storms as well.

  2. I love seeing the details of flowers visible from various angles. Is that a red bug? I tried to enlarge it enough to get a good look at it, but no luck. Queen Anne’s Lace is a favorite of mine, but I find it very difficult to get a really clear photo. There is always one small red floret in the center of QAL, which fascinates me, probably not visible from the underside. great photography πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you, I appreciate hearing that, I am glad you enjoy my photos and that they bring the outdoors into your home. Have a wonderful week. 😊
