Happy 1st of February
Happy 1st of February, yes there is still lots of snow, but I wanted to start seeing some colors this month. Winter can be so long sometimes. It will be near 40 degrees this week, but then it will be back to -4 F a few days later.
So I will warm my thoughts with some colorful photos mixed in over the next couple of months.
By February I am thinking how nice it will be when the grass starts to grow, and that first lawn mowing when the grass smells so good.
But, every morning there are still icicles hanging around.

Here it’s a bit brown with melting snow and rain but winter is not over.. 😉
I am so looking forward to seeing rain again. January seemed like a really long month here.
A nice mix-and-match of images – I would rather have the colorful images just like you! I do admit the snow and ice are pretty though. I was shoveling the snow this morning and the mailman came along and I said “I don’t want to hear either of us complain about the heat this Summer!”
Lol, I know. But I will complain when it is in the 90s.
Me too Sandra, as much as I don’t want to, I will complain too, especially with high humidity. In the Summer, at least if we want to go out, we can – the bitter cold and snow/ice are barriers.
I am also ready for spring. Very ready! I love that photo of the tree arching over the little river. Stunning.
Thank you Emillie, yes, by now I am ready to see flowers and more sunshine. 😊
Lovely photos, so different, so full of textures and colors. Lovely indeed.
Thank you so much 🙂 have a wonderful day.
Happy February Great contrast between the photos. Winter can be so beautiful when it wants to
Fear not Laughter Is still With Us
Yes it can, I do enjoy every season. 🙂 Thank you Mr. Ohh 🙂
Where are you from Sandra? I am dreaming to visit places like these. Someday.
In the north country of the States, But if you really want to see beautiful snow country that would be Colorado, a place I would like to get to also. 🙂
Thanks again!!
Happy new month to you too, ma’am. I love the colour blend of the pictures you shared. 😊
Thank you so much and happy new month to you as well. 🙂
You are welcome. 🤗
Beautiful photos, but I think many of us are ready for some of the great colors of Spring!
Yes, around February I tend to start getting excited for the next season. I even bought some potting soil today to beable to start planting some seeds in the house soon for the garden. The snow will be around until the end of May here. 😊
Oh, my!
Awsome
Thank you very much Seraja.😊
Your welcome lovely😘
Thank you for reminding us of all the colors that await and reward our patience throughout these winter months!
You are very welcome Mary, spring will be here before we know it. Always something to look forward to during every season.
Thank you for this mixture of winter and summer images. How happy everyone will be when spring arrives. Again, your photos are very beautiful to look at Sandra.
Thank you very much. 😊
Thanks for the colors, they warm up the winter (which is quite long around here).
Have a great day, Sandra.
I was in some need of color as well. Long days of winter. Thank you Francine. 😊
Gorgeous pictures.
Thank you very much. 😊
You take such amazing pictures!!
Thank you, I appreciate that. Have a wonderful day. 😊
Beautiful shot of a snowy branch. It seems like an arch of a portal. 🙂
Thank you 😊 it is one of my favorites.
Hmm… I don’t know what to say. I for one would like to see the nature as it is, in real time. If it’s snowy, I want to see snow. That being said, my fave pic in your compilation is the first one, with those beautiful leaves. 🙂
Thank you very much Jo, it is fun to think about that it is summer somewhere on the world. It will be here soon enough also. 😊
I like the way you think. 🙂 Yes, let it come!
The smell of grass after mowing does smell good! A fun fact is that avocados smell a tiny bit like grass.
I love that smell, I did not know that about avocados. Thank you.😊
Lovely shots.
Thank you very much. 🙂
Beautiful photographies 😍❤️
Thank you. 🙂
You’re welcome 🤗
Gorgeous Shots (like always).
Thank you very much. 😊
Glad I’m not the only one who thinks February is longest month of winter.
It seemed to take forever just for February to get here.😊
