The Art of Cold Weather

The Art of Cold Weather

The Art of Cold Weather, What do you think this might be? To me it looks like a topographical map. Looking at a mountain range from the air in the winter. It almost has a 3 dimensional look to it. Video below.

The Art of Cold Weather

It is the frost on my windshield this morning. Single digit temperatures can create quite the art pattern on glass. I have never seen anything like it.

The Power of the Sun

Creation is so beautiful in its simplest form. From the smallest things like the sun melting the frost from the side of my car. There seems to be a lot of chaos going on around the world. But if you can relax in the thought of the Father, you don’t worry so much about what man is doing without the Father.

I can see Stability more and more with Him, then without Him. Stability to me means no fear, it gives us the power to stand strong within our faith. Stability is often used to describe structures that won’t collapse or fall down. 💕

  1. I am loving watching the snow birds feed on feeder from inside my warm cozy place. It brutally cold here in northern Mn right now and dropping down lower this week. I plan to stay in unless the sun comes out and then I might walk around a little.

  2. Beautiful shots and the video as well … 3 degrees F, so no wonder the window looked like that. I like the clouds rushing by in the video too. You wonder when it is this cold and icy and snowy if it will ever get Summery again. I was surprised about three weeks ago to see a homeowner on the next block had Snowdrops out. Have you ever seen them Sandra? They are very delicate looking perennials with white blossoms, usually up just before the crocuses push through the earth. I’ve never seen them this early though. They are likely gone now due to this big chill we had last week, then the wintry precip and heavy snow.

      1. They sure are hardy – always the first flowers up in the Spring … poor things should have stayed underground a little longer though as we are going into the Deep Freeze this coming weekend plus we’ve had snow and freezing rain.

  3. The cold weather there certainly produces some very beautiful and interesting vistas Sandra, whcih we never see in our hot land. Love the blues in the water scene. Yes resting in the Fathers love is the safest and most peaceful place to be, especially at this time. Enjoy your weekend 🙂

  4. So much wondrous variety within His immutable laws of nature, which you always capture so well. That’s some ice on that windshield! Stay warm and have a great, restorative weekend.
