Evening Rains

Evening Rains

Evening Rains, last nights storms brought 2 inches of rain that was very much needed in my area. As the rain stopped late into the evening, the sky turned to a beautiful pink and blue and my one flowering plant that survived the winter was in full bloom as the sun begin to set.

  1. Beautiful … touched by raindrops. I wish we had rain here now to shut down the noise … 10:30 and fireworks (big ones) still going strong.

      1. It was crazy last night Sandra. The state law is they can start at 11:00 a.m. and go thru 11:45 p.m. the day before and day of the actual holiday. Last night sounded like a war going on all around this house.

  2. Beautiful pink hues! We were nailed with 2.5 inches of badly needed rain last weekend – so far, clear for the fourth celebrations.

  3. Life giving water is so important. These photos are nice, I especially like the water droplets. I live on the edge of the Sonoran desert and normally welcome rain but it was darn nuisance the last couple days when we were painting boards outside and had a deadline for a new fence. Yesterday was a 12 hour day of painting, but the grass is green, the sunflowers are getting taller and today we rest.

    1. That sounds like a lot of painting. I know what you mean, last year it was so dry, I am enjoying the rain now.

      1. I’m always surprised by what I’ll notice in the photos. Like little reflections or bugs. Plus everything looks so fresh and clean.

    1. Thank you so much, it was so pretty, all of a sudden the sky was half pink and darker blue. I do enjoy the punk sky’s.
