December is Here

December is Here

December is Here – time to say good bye to all the fall colors in some parts of the world. It is that time of year when the leaves have fallen and walking in the woods is one of my favorite things to do.

The sound of crunchy leaves beneath your feet and this is the time of year to get a good look at trees when the leaves are all gone. There are so many unique shaped trees that one doesn’t always notice in the summer when they are hidden by a forest of green leaves.

This one I title – A Double Fork in the Road

  1. I took a screenshot of the river pic in case I take another Bob Ross painting class – I’ll try that, rather than whatever they demo.

      1. I’m kinda the same. I only paint at instructor-led stuff, almost never on my own. There were 2 students doing extra paintings at the Bob Ross class that I took. I plan to do the samenext time.

        1. My sister does that as well, goes to some local classes around the holidays. Her paintings are very nice. But she never paints on her own at home. πŸ™‚

          1. Just finding somewhere for my oil painting to dry was a challenge! It ended up in the garage, on top of some boxes.

I try to attend weekly watercolor zooms but with my irregular sleep “schedule” and chronic pain, I’m lucky if I attend 2 of every 4. Sometimes I just watch on my phone while in bed.

            1. Yes I can see where one would have to find a place for your finished art work as well. Mine stays on my computer until I am ready to have a craft sale. 😊

              1. I’m covering a,wall in my living room and another in my work area.

I have tons of ceramics and artwork that needs to be flat. Maybr I’ll find somewhere to display them after getting my house cleaned up.

In a couple weeks, Ill be trying “ocean pour resin” on a cutting board.

                1. That is nice that you are hanging your art work. That way you can see it everyday. People need to print photos again instead of leaving them on the web.

                  1. I ordered a super cheap used zink printer yesterday.

Awhile back, I used Shutterfly to print a book of my cats photos. It was easy and I put a ton of photos in a 20 page book. Now I don’t have to worry about losing the digital images. I highly recommend it!!

                    1. Yes, that is the main reason because they can disappear on your phone. Or some people get so many photos in digital that they can’t remember what is even on it and never see the photos again.

  2. Sandra, perhaps you have eliminated this option on your blog, but I cannot indicate a “like” as of about two posts ago. It only shows the option to share or comment.

    1. Thank you for letting me know. It seems to be having this problem for a couple of weeks now. A couple other people have mentioned this. Are you looking at the actual web site or in reader? I see it is there in reader but not on my site. I will look into that today. 😊

        1. I think I found the problem, there should be a like button now. Let me know if it works properly. I appreciate you letting me know. WordPress changes things up now and then and one has to go in and check all of the settings. πŸ™‚ Thank you Don.
