Bright Sunny Day Today, the sun finally came out today and what a difference it makes for photographing birds. There are plenty of gray days all winter, so it is a real treat when the sun comes out and the birds gather around the feeders.

  1. The birds are beautiful – so close-up as is that squirrel you added to the end of this post for good measure. He was probably eyeing the birdseed like the deer does. πŸ™‚

  2. Beautiful birds and great pictures this post is almost perfect. It has one flaw and it’s spelled S-Q-U-I-R-R-E-L Unless of course the birds are plotting his demise.

  4. Beautiful photos! “Birds of a feather flock together…” The female evening grosbeak has patches of sunlight on her too. Squirrel seems to be thinking, “What? I don’t need feathers to be adorable!” Have a lovely weekend, Sandra.
