Birds Eye View

Birds Eye View

Birds Eye View, birds and fishing go hand in hand. Husband fishes and I photograph the birds coming around for a free meal. This blue heron was looking right at me as I took this photo. It is such a fun photo to have a bird look directly at the camera I think.

  1. I am always amazed how much different birds can look when they are shot head on versus a more profile view – herons especially. Really like the paint treatment you used on this one.

    1. Thank you, yes I love their big yellow eyes close up. When husband is fishing they come right up next to us so I get some great shots.

    1. Thank you so much Kellye. I do love photographing these birds. Most of the time they look so small and skinny, but when they are at rest they can look so artistic. Birds are so amazing. 😊

    1. I know, birds look so strange that way and the herons with those big eyes are just so cool looking. 😊

    1. Thank you Rudi, they are quite amazing birds. I photographed these on a beach and changed the background to remove all the sand and sticks that were on the beach behind them.

  2. When I see a new post coming in from you, I always know the photos are going to be fabulous and informative.
