As the Earth Turns Green

As the Earth Turns Green

As the Earth Turns Green, that sounds like it could be the Title to a Soap Opera. 🙂 I love when everything starts to wake up after a long winter nap. The greens are so vibrant, truly named forest green for a reason.

  1. As the Earth Turns Green is lovey but in, say 20 years, can we see it as it is with the battle against climate change? Thank you 😊

  2. Anything green is welcome after a long Winter – you are lucky you are not still seeing snow as you featured it just last week. How refreshing to see all the green Sandra!

  3. Living in northern Mn. means spring and summer come a later then the midwest states. There is green grass popping up underneath the brown grass of winter though. Very few flowers yet but the birds are wonderful to hear sing again. I have been adding green in the form of plants to the inside of my house first and soon I will be adding the ferns and others to the outside. Looking forward to full spring but today I enjoyed my bible reading and studying outside in the sun for the first time this spring, it was lovely. Beautiful pictures as always, thanks.

    1. I hear you, the grass has turned green, but no flowers or leaves yet. Won’t be long, plenty of buds on the trees. Have a wonderful afternoon.

  4. Your first picture is stunning. I love the varying shades of green that only comes in spring like all the greens in the Crayola box pulled out at once.

    1. Thank you Don, it was so quiet out there on that morning. The green reflection was so beautiful. Have a wonderful day.

  5. I love the different shades of green and sometimes challenge myself to identify them all. I have always given up because there are too many subtle variations.

    1. Yes, it is amazing how they have names for all the different shades as well. Our leaves have not come out on the trees here yet. That will be more shades of green. 😊

  6. After a long, cool, dry winter, we have very little green here. Drought resistant desert trees are brown. Some are dying. I really need some green! Thank you for bringing me a little.

    1. You are very welcome Emilie, the leaves have not come out on the trees here yet, but the pine trees always are a lovely green here.
