Artistic Bridges

Artistic Bridges, during our visit to my sisters home town, we did a photo shoot of all the children and grandchildren while we were there. We took a day to scope out a location for the shoot and came across this beautiful walking bridge.

I do love the design of bridges, this one with the nice straight lines and white rails and post. I have been to this town many times but this is my first time seeing this bridge.

  1. Beautiful, my security settings sometimes list me as anonymous. This is Tangie of MRS T’S CORNER

    1. I have one for tomorrow’s post from Metropolis I’ll. It is the coolest bridge I have ever seen so far, and it was exciting to drive across it. I am pretty sure it is tomorrow’s post, I think. 😊

    2. Alton, IL??? Brian, OMG. That is where my good friend Ray is from! He just returned from a family visit two weeks ago.

I just posted two links to Sandra on a couple of bridges I have written about…both incredibly troublesome.

        1. I just went to your page and read your can opener post. Only cars can go under that one. There is a bridge in Davenport Iowa that is to short for semi trailers, and it is posted with flashing warnings lights and all, but semis still try to go through and get stuck.

  2. A beautiful bridge Sandra. Is it only for bikers and hikers ? We also have similar bridges for some years (since biking became an alternative way of transportation).

    1. Yes, only for walking and biking. Amazing how they build something so nice like that for the public to use. It sure is pretty. I do enjoy all the bike paths that communities make these days.
