Artistic Bridges
Artistic Bridges, during our visit to my sisters home town, we did a photo shoot of all the children and grandchildren while we were there. We took a day to scope out a location for the shoot and came across this beautiful walking bridge.
I do love the design of bridges, this one with the nice straight lines and white rails and post. I have been to this town many times but this is my first time seeing this bridge.

Beautiful, my security settings sometimes list me as anonymous. This is Tangie of MRS T’S CORNER
Hello Tangie and thank you. 😊
Beautiful
Thank you very much 😊
Interesting angles of this bridge Sandra and it gives us a great perspective of what you saw.
It is such a pretty bridge and quite large for a walking bridge as well.
It looked very modern.
I’m a sucker for bridge architecture and this one is a stunner. There is one near Alton, IL that is probably my favorite.
I have one for tomorrow’s post from Metropolis I’ll. It is the coolest bridge I have ever seen so far, and it was exciting to drive across it. I am pretty sure it is tomorrow’s post, I think. 😊
Alton, IL??? Brian, OMG. That is where my good friend Ray is from! He just returned from a family visit two weeks ago.
I just posted two links to Sandra on a couple of bridges I have written about…both incredibly troublesome.
Ray stated it was probably The Clark bridge…
Bridges are interesting.
Yes, so many different designs, 😊
I have posted a couple of bridges. Both were/are quite troublesome…

I clicked on the link but it goes to a conversation instead of your post.
I just checked it. Maybe a web hiccup?

I just went to your page and read your can opener post. Only cars can go under that one. There is a bridge in Davenport Iowa that is to short for semi trailers, and it is posted with flashing warnings lights and all, but semis still try to go through and get stuck.
Same with the bridge in Durham. Folks don’t pay any attention.
This is a beautiful bridge. Can you say where it is?
I thought so as well Kellye. Yes it is in a small town named Charles City Iowa.
Adding that to my Iowa “to do” list.
Beautiful!! Thanks for the share
You are very welcome, thank you 😊
💙💙💙🙏
Thank you very much Francine 😊
Nice bridges, nice pictures
Kind regards,
Thank you Rob, have a wonderful day 😊
A beautiful bridge Sandra. Is it only for bikers and hikers ? We also have similar bridges for some years (since biking became an alternative way of transportation).
Yes, only for walking and biking. Amazing how they build something so nice like that for the public to use. It sure is pretty. I do enjoy all the bike paths that communities make these days.
Excellent post
Thank you very much 😊
Beautiful bridge photo.
Thank you Peter 😊
