Yes it is – sunny days and I saw a goldfinch almost daily all Summer. That little guy would flit from tree to tree in a house in the neighborhood singing its little heart out.

The American goldfinch is unique in that it raises its young at the end of the season when plants have seeded out. They feed their young seeds, where most birds feed their your insects and raise families earlier in the season. A lovely post today!
