Who’s Feathers Are These
Who’s Feathers Are These, they are the back of a Peacock Bird, these are the most colorful birds and I have not seen one in awhile. But I sure love looking at them.
When I was very young on my parents farm we had a few of these beautiful birds. When his tail feathers fell out we collected them and put them in a large vase. I wish I still had those feathers, I don’t know what ever happened to them.

Those peafowls are gorgeous birds .. not to mention absolutely HUGE. Enjoyed the shots!
Thank you Brian, we had a few of these on the farm growing up, our folks would pick up all the tail feathers and have them in a giant vase in the house.
Incredible colors!
😉 thank you, such pretty birds they are.
So beautiful 💙💙💙💙
Thank you 🙂
Wow
Thank you 😊
Beautiful – I guessed right. I was going by all the “spokes” which were the feathers when it opened the tail feathers.
Yes, that kind of gave it away. The back of their feathers is as pretty as the front in design.
I also liked the little tuft of feathers on their head that you showed us.
If you didn’t see one how did you get a picture of one? I’m so confused.

Thank you very much 😊
I agree they are beautiful, but when they live wild, as they do around here, they can also be messy… I”m very glad they roost on my neighbor’s house, not mine!
Yes, we had a few of them on the farm when I was growing up. They can be loud, but we had lots of animals and they fit right in. 😊
Ah, such lovely “touch” memories of collecting those feathers. A beautiful set of pictures of a dignified bird.
Yes, we collected the feathers as well. 😊
Sorry, this always comes to my mind, eventhough this ain’t a pheasant:
“My father was a pheasant plucker and I’m a pheasant plucker’s son.”
🙁 Sorry again.
😊 it reminded you of your father. 😊
Be careful when you say that. 😉
What? “My father was a pleasant phu…” Uh oh. 😮
