Who’s Feathers Are These

Who’s Feathers Are These

Who’s Feathers Are These, they are the back of a Peacock Bird, these are the most colorful birds and I have not seen one in awhile. But I sure love looking at them.

Who's Feathers Are These

When I was very young on my parents farm we had a few of these beautiful birds. When his tail feathers fell out we collected them and put them in a large vase. I wish I still had those feathers, I don’t know what ever happened to them.

    1. Thank you Brian, we had a few of these on the farm growing up, our folks would pick up all the tail feathers and have them in a giant vase in the house.

  2. Bonjour Sandra,
j’espère que mon commentaire passera.Vos photos de ce paon sont vraiment sublimes.Bravo

  3. I agree they are beautiful, but when they live wild, as they do around here, they can also be messy… I”m very glad they roost on my neighbor’s house, not mine!

    1. Yes, we had a few of them on the farm when I was growing up. They can be loud, but we had lots of animals and they fit right in. 😊

  4. Sorry, this always comes to my mind, eventhough this ain’t a pheasant:

“My father was a pheasant plucker and I’m a pheasant plucker’s son.”

    🙁 Sorry again.
