White Tailed Deer
White Tailed Deer.
The deer also wags its tail from side to side while flagging. Flagging also helps other members of the herd locate each other. A startled deer skip any or all of the preliminary signals, but it almost always displays the flaglike tail as it runs away

I took this video below with my phone camera through a window. It is not the clearest video. I saw mother and fawn playing in a water puddle out in the yard.

I didn’t know this about the white tail “flagging” – very interesting Sandra. I did sneak a peek at Mom and Baby playing yesterday, but just watched it again. They look so lively and playful. They are truly beautiful animals.
So fun to see them play.
Yes – like both were youngsters.
Some gorgeous shots xx
Thank you very much Sue.
Great pix, BTW! ❤️
Thank you very much ☺️
I see the embed didn’t work. Your link goes to YT just fine, tho…

Yep, I thought I had it. But finally got to my page and saw it did not work. I will just put the link to you tube from now on. Thanks for trying to help though. ☺️

I see the brackets you are talking about. I will keep trying.
WP will keep you busy.

Your video is so sweet – isn‘t it fun to watch wild animals displaying such joy?!
Yes it is, it was amazing to see the mother and her Fawn playing like that. She looked like she was having so much fun.
Sweet pictures, Sanddra
Thank you Don. ☺️
