Whistle the Paint Horse – this is my niece’s horse, I made this first photo for her this year. Showing Whistle when she was just a youngster and how she has grown into a beautiful 3 year old mare this year. She does have one blue eye as well. Beautiful horse indeed.

This is beautiful coloring on this paint horse and so unique with two different eye colors … like huskies often do. I think of Linda Ronstadt with her song about “I ride an old paint ….” a cowboy song about his horse.

I was blessed with a gorgeous paint mare, Amore, with such strong resemblance to Whistle. The different color eyes, white blaze and that pretty mane. Stunning photos and tribute to the mild-mannered breed.
