What Did the Heron Say to the Egret
What Did the Heron Say to the Egret, (The Heron is on the Left) he says to the White Egret.
” Hey Egret, do you want to hear a joke?”
White Egret, “No, don’t bother me, I am fishing”
Heron, ” Ok, two Herons walk into a bar, ππ, no just kidding. Wait, don’t go.
Ok, here it is, ” I went birdwatching the other day, but didn’t see anything.
Still, no egrets. ππ€£π”
I crack myself up π€£ππ€£π
Hey Egret, come backkk, I was just joking. I still have no egrets, πππ

Great to meet you on your lovely site. I’m now following you after your kind follow. Ignore my injury, I’m all set up here. β€οΈCindy
Very nice to meet you Cindy, there are some Egrets migrating through this area right now. It is fun to see them here.
Oh I bet.. and thanks so much!!!!
Fun post π
Thank you very much. π
Oh, that was funny Sandra and boy you caught that heron with his mad face and open beak, flapping its wings, but he didn’t take off right away. Usually when I see them, they hightail it as soon as they see the whites of my eyes. The egret probably thought “now that’s a strange bird if I ever saw one!” That is an expression you don’t hear anymore – people would say “he/she is a strange bird.” Great pictures and some humor through in as well. π
Thank you Linda, yes he did not fly away as I stood there, he was just in a mood to voice his opinion on this morning.
They sure do make a squawk that could make the dead rise from the grave.
Did you know Frank Sinatra was an armature bird watcher. He even wrote a song about it.
Egrets I’ve had a few, but then again, too few to mention. Upon heron that I guess he wasn’t very good
Laugh on

Yes, the Heron lives at this spot, he is always there and usually no one else around. On this day he was just squawking away. Talking to anyone who would listen I think π
