What a Smart Bird

What a Smart Bird

What a Smart Bird the Raven, I was watching these ravens at one of the campgrounds we were at for about a week. They kept an eye on all the campsites. As soon as a camper left there spot, the ravens would come in and inspect the area, looking for scraps.

This one actually checked out the charcoal grill and seemed to be telling the others that there is nothing left here. Then he jumped down to the ground to make sure he did not miss anything.

  1. Amazing! I admire your ability to sit down and remain still enough for long enough to observe the natural world around you.

        1. I appreciate you saying that, I sure enjoy sharing what I see with my camera. There is so much beauty all around us. Have a wonderful evening. 😊

  2. They are very smart I hear – all the corvids are and blue jays are included in that group. You got some great pics of them hopping and flying down.

  3. Thank you Sandra. You make these natural happenings most never see or record seem commonplace and put a story behind them. You make these birds and animals come alive. Excellent photography does that. Your work is so good we must be careful not to take it for granted. These still shots showcase the great ability and thinking process of this beautiful bird.

Most of us do the same with the Lord, in that, though His miraculous Creation is all around us, we have a tendency to not notice just how miraculous it is or how great He is. We must all take a closer look.

Thank you for all the many reminders and the work you do every day.

    1. You are so welcome RJ and thank you. It is amazing to see how animals think and work within creation. They have the simple tools on how to survive, so many things we can learn from watching closely like you said. Have a wonderful day πŸ™‚

  4. Yes they are known as the world’s smartest birds Sandra, and able to solve particular problems faster and more efficiently than we can. Great captures.

    1. Thank you very much, it is so interesting to watch these birds. How they communicate and work around us. πŸ™‚
