Water Falls in the Winter

Water Falls in the Winter

Water Falls in the Winter, I hope everyone had a good weekend. It has been some strange weather everywhere. It warmed up a bit here so I headed to the water falls to see what they looked like and took a few photos.

      1. πŸ˜‰πŸ‘ I also love the color of the water ~ I can recall growing up in the upper peninsula of Michigan, seeing that same thing. I’m not sure of the cause, but do enjoy it. Thanks for sharing, Sandra!

        1. I looked it up Phil, it said it is from a thing called Tannin, from the bark of pine trees. And there are a lot of pine trees up here. I love the color as well, it looks like liquid gold. Thank you Phil.

  1. Very beautiful shots Sandra, I’m curious for what’s next πŸ˜‰ We also had a nice weekend with beautiful spring weather here (18Β°C)

    1. Thank you, yes the weather is quite warm all of a sudden and the snow has been melting today. Which is good, there is a lot of snow to melt. πŸ™‚

    1. It is so cool looking with water rushing underneath it. It is strangely warm here today. But it is nice to see some of this snow melting. πŸ™‚

    1. The water looks like liquid gold to me when standing near it. It is because of all the pine trees around it. They have a thing called Tannin in the bark that gets into the water. Pine trees like spruce trees.😊
