Upper Peninsula Michigan, continuing our trek across the UP, Pictured rock is a place I always wanted to see. We finally made it there this year. It was a beautiful day and the views are amazing. A must see if you are ever up here.
Lots of colors against the rocks where water drips down. Plus water that is just so clear and beautiful colors of turquoise and blues.

I have seen photos of Pictured Rocks before but never close enough to see the color markings you have showed us. That is amazing Sandra! The water color is amazing as well!

These are great pictures, Sandra. I had no idea such a place existed. How fortunate y’all were to get there at last and experience it up close. We can see the ancient layers of sedimentary rock as usual in such formations but also somehow someway vertical columns within them of various colors. It is no wonder it is such an attraction. Thank you for sharing this.
