Tree Frog Bird Frog or Just a Frog

Tree Frog Bird Frog or Just a Frog

Tree Frog Bird Frog or Just a Frog, it is extremely hot here today and I was out walking along the tree line and I looked up at a bird house on a tree. I had to squint a bit as I saw something in the entrance hole of this bird house.

I wasn’t quite sure, so I went and got my camera and sure enough it is a frog sitting in a bird house. Well, if the birds don’t want it, I guess the frog can make it his home. He definitely has a great view from way up there.

I don’t know what kind of frog it is, if any one knows please leave a comment below.

I took a picture of this frog below down by the water.

  1. What an interesting shot, don’t get to see that very often. I had visions of a long bill poking out and snatching that frog up hehehe.

  2. Both of these are pretty frogs (if a frog can be called beautiful). That’s pretty funny Sandra. It was cool in there I’ll bet. A fellow blogger had a tiny tree frog in the handle of her watering can. She tried to water and no water came out so she took off the spout to find out what was blocking the water and a frog hopped out. He kept hopping back into the watering can after she finished watering, so her/husband tried relocating him/her – that didn’t work, so they bought a new watering can and let “Froggy” (they named him) have that one.

    1. How fun to see a frog like that, he wanted that watering can. I would have done the same thing. I love hearing stories like that. 🙂

      1. Me too – we all cater to those little critters. Ruth is from Michigan if I didn’t mention it – she took pictures of the little frog in the spout. 🙂

    1. You are very welcome Kellye, I was surprised it stayed there while I went and got a camera. It was so hot out, he may have been getting a breeze up there.

    1. I am not sure, that bird house is 10 ft high. I took some video of him as well and he would go inside and then come back out and just sit on the edge. 🙂
