Someday is Here

Through the Tunnel & Over the Bridge

You know how some of us say; ” Someday I am going to go on that big trip”, or Someday I will do __________.

Well, the word someday usually means never. I heard that in a movie that the actor Tom Cruise is in. He said that line.

Someday is here and our journey continues. I look forward to sharing photos of God’s Country along the way. I wish you all a wonderful weekend. Try to never put off what you can do today until someday. Life is a gift,

Life is a gift and death is a homecoming to me.  Our body’s are on loan to us just for a short time to enjoy the wonderful things He gives us.  I did not grow up in a Christian family at all.  A neighbor told me a little bit about it when I was 10 years old and I have been searching for the truth ever since.

He never meant for it to be a mystery; it is the gift of life. Finding my purpose has been the journey, the end will just be the beginning.

  1. Very thought-provoking post with beautiful pictures Sandra … the bridges and their length and how they appear to go into oblivion are quite unique.

    1. Thank you Linda, yes that bridge goes so high in the air it is kind of nerve racking at times if it is real windy especially.

      1. Can you imagine on a day like today? I wonder if they closed the Big Mac Bridge? They usually just offer the escort service if you’re afraid to cross (probably me) or on windy days. I didn’t hear anything about it today. I’ll bet your big bridge would be scary to cross as it would sway in big winds.

    1. Thank you very much. I was watching them the other day, there were a few dolphins swimming around and the pelicans were diving every where around them. Taking the dolphins fish I imagine..

  2. Sandra, your post, reminded me of the Filipino song, The Journey. The lines goes like this:

What a journey it has been
And the end is not in sight
But the stars are out tonight
And they’re bound to guide my way

When they’re shining on my life
I can see a better day
I won’t let the darkness in
What a journey it has been

Those are indeed wonderful pictures, especially the pterod…bridge (yes, the 3rd picture). Blessings to you and your family!

    1. Thank you very much Kent, I love the poem, it is so true. What a Journey it has been is so true. Have a wonderful weekend.

  3. It was never meant to be alien to us but love is a mystery. A really great mystery which surprised the lover and the beloved. Live rightly, seek truth, be true. You have the spark of the divine, no doubt! I preach, you know, but with as gentle voice as possible. Thank you for sharing your deep thoughts on life.

    1. You are so welcome Gerry, I appreciate that. Is it not something to think of how His love is always right there in front of us. Have a wonderful weekend Gerry. 🙂
