The UP
The UP, also known as the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, the folks are known as Yoopers. I am a yooper, even though I moved away for awhile. I was raised up here and have moved back here.
We are traveling the UP this fall, I will be sharing photos as we go. Have a great weekend. 🙂

God’s country, indeed. I grew up in the UP, living in Marquette, MI for ten years, and, each time I return to visit, I find myself wondering why it is that I don’t live there, today? It’s so beautiful – enjoy your autumn travels and change of seasons, Sandra 🙂
How cool is that Phil. Been to Marquette many times. We have actually never been over to the Soo Locks in all these years. So we are headed that way..have a wonderful weekend..
