The Queen of the House

The Queen of the House

The Queen of the House, or is she. Well, as you know I love animals. Pretty much all animals. I have a special place in my heart for them and I believe they are truly a gift to us all and they have a way of making people smile and laugh. At times when I catch them in a more serious mood, they are a picture of pure beauty.

I have 2 dogs and a cat. They get along great the three of them. Each one has their moment of being the top dog or cat of the house. I have seen the rolls change all the time.

This is my baby who looks so regal at times. She can give you a look of understanding. She is by my side when I need her. She rest her head in my lap when I am feeling low. She does not let me sit very long, she knows how to make me laugh. Especially when it is time to play. 🙂

Now, we all have our moments that we shine, but when it is time to have fun, we can sometimes loose our regal appearance. I made a cat video the other day. So I thought it was fitting to make a dog video. I did not want the cat to get all the credit. And the cat video proves to me they can be as goofy as dogs when it comes to fetching toys.

So I just had to make a video of my dog in our backyard playing fetch. I really did not realize how often she missed catching the ball, she actually ducks when it comes to her. Kind of like when I was younger playing softball, I always ducked when the ball was just about in my glove. 🙂

  1. Animals is a gift to humanity, and our life is richer and fuller because of them.

I love watching dogs go after a toy with such enthusiasm. The smallest things make them happy and excited, and this is what brings joy to the life of a pet’s owner.

  2. That was fun Sandra – it’s nice to see your pets and I see acrobatics runs in the family! Those are some great moves up in the air and leaping and your sound effects were equally fun. It is always fun to watch pets when they play and they put so much gusto into their actions.

      1. Yes, it is fun to watch animals. There is a fenced-in area at Council Point Park. It is set back from the walking path. It is where the guys were with the drone, but sometimes people bring their big dogs there to play Frisbee or throw a ball. I watched one lab running around in the snow, clearly having a whale of a time.

  3. Sorry to tell you but the cat is sitting there planning your demise. The only question is whether you or the dogs go first. Make sure that food bowl stays full just in case
Stay well and Laugh a lot

  4. Sandra, your video is so cute and fun to watch, it made me smile. 🙂
Your furry babies are so adorable!
    Love the photos!

        1. Really good Seraja, it is cold here again so the garden is having a slow start. But it was a good day. How was yours?

            1. Yes, here also. A lot of places are opening up. People are glad to get back to work. I have not gone to a store in awhile. I will be going tomorrow. Hopefully everything is better there. Have a wonderful evening.🙂❤

  5. Thanks for mentioning her habit of ducking… it made the vid even funnier!!

Your cat is gorgeous. I’m going to look for that post now… I’d love to see it’s face from straight on (mustache and lined lips???).

    1. Thank you so much, she is so fast when playing fetch I never really noticed her ducking so much until I slowed the video. 🙂 This little cat, I love her mustache, more like a goatee. She chases my little dog all the time. 🙂

  6. Yes, pets and laughter are the best of medicines. Thank you for sharing this delightful video of your dog retrieving. Love how her tail is a banner of happiness as she returns with the toy in her mouth.

  7. Kit Cat is cute, but I’m a dog person. So I’m thrilled to see the dogs as well. Since I know you’re not good with names 🙂 I’d like to know how you call them.

    1. 🙂 Alright, I will try to explain. Well, the little dogs name who is in the video. Her name is Deohgee, (d-o-g), we say her name one letter at a time. Not the whole word. So I had to change the spelling of her name to Deohgee, because the veterinarian was confused. It is hard to explain writing it. 🙂 The bigger dog is a simple one. Chloee. 🙂

      1. 😀 Oh, Sandra you’re an original person. Your artistic side is visible even in the names you’ve chosen for your pets. How wonderful!
