The Hot Days of Summer

The Hot Days of Summer are here. The little birds like staying in the shade of the thick bushes.

They sprint out quickly to grab a quick bite and off they go.

  1. Very pretty – I think they are White-throated Sparrows – I love the little gold bars. She/he is eying the sunflower seeds, well worth a quick trip out of the shade.

  2. The early morning activity around the feeders is almost frantic as birds try to beat the heat. Evening gets busy once again clear into night. I had a grosbeak at the feeder at 9 pm!
