Spring Time Out Doors

Spring Time Out Doors

Spring Time Out Doors, lots of birds and more fishing for the husband this week. Nest are being built and the migration of birds is underway. I will have more new birds coming up the next couple of weeks.

My bird count has risen to 200 from 160.

  1. Spring and baby birds – I looked at the fire station when I was at Lake Erie Metropark a week ago Saturday – no nests in the siren yet. I hated when the Park tree cutters trimmed all the trees and removed the low-hanging branches because I could no longer see inside the nests like I could before. Forty new birds in record time – you should feel proud of yourself Sandra.

    1. Yes, I was surprised at the number after I wrote them all down. I had forgotten the ones I photographed earlier in the winter.

      1. That’s amazing Sandra – the hummingbirds have returned to Michigan … I think they may turn back when they see how cold and rainy it is here. After our nice warm spell, the weather has been very chilly. Today was the first nice weather day with sun anyway and I had to walk to the dentist.

  2. Sandra, I’m not sure where you reside, but your photos feature some incredible wildlife. Thank you for sharing! 💓

    1. I appreciate that Katherine, thank you. We live in Michigan but travel south for the winters. I just don’t want to shovel snow anymore. 😊

    1. Thank you very much, I appreciate your kind words and glad you enjoy my photos. I love sharing them. Have a wonderful day. 😊

    1. Thank you, there are a few man made perches around here but only two of them are occupied. It wad nice to see them using it.
