Southern Porches
Southern Porches – I love porches on houses and down south they have some beautiful ones with giant pillars and inviting rocking chairs.
I saw this one as we were out driving around and took the photo through the window of the jeep.
I had to edit it just a bit to add some soft glowing porch lights in the lanterns and brighten the flowers and leaves. Sometimes our cameras don’t always pick up exactly what I see.

The southern porch ! No matter the house, old or new, a decent porch is a requirement. On one now as I type this.
When out shooting in town the first thing I look for is a good porch. 😆.
I agree Ted, they are the best place to be no matter the weather. But especially during a rain, so I can still sit outside.

We are also porch fans..we have an 8′ all the way around our rural house and enjoy sitting out there listening to the woods . Definitely not as beautiful as the one in this shot..bet that is old money! Wonderful photograph treatments as well
How nice, porches are the best. We have a small one in front of our cabin. I use it all the time. Just something about porches. 🙂
