She is Sneaky this little fawn, she is just starting to come out of the woods with mom in this first photo, the minute I come out with the camera she high tails it back to the woods.
Everyday she is getting more brave to not run when she sees me, she is curious and mom keeps a close eye on her.

We are seeing a lot of fawns in our woods as well. So much fun to watch them slowly grow their independence from the watchful mother. Several weeks ago a fawn came right up to me while I was running and sniffed my hand. Somebody’s been feeding it which is not a good thing.
We just have the one this year. Seems less and less here every year.
A new friendship is in the making 🙂
How sweet – I love how she looks at you, kind of scoping you out … friend or foe, but then takes off still unsure. 🙂
So Cute. We have lost of deer, but we never see the fawns. 🤣😎🙃
We used to have dozens of deer also, but the last couple of years there had been just one and her new baby

Yes it does, my lilies are now 3 years old and this year they did not touch them. But they have the last couple of years. Maybe they get bitter as the plants get older 🙂
