Riding the Waves

Riding the Waves

Riding the Waves, I went for a walk this morning along the beach and I came across Darren the Heron looking like he is riding the waves on a branch bobbing up and down. He is trying to get a better view of the beach, looking for a fisher I suspect.

But there wasn’t any fisher’s on this particular morning, not a person in sight.

    1. Thank you, it is nice to get out of the city when you can. I used to live in a city and understand your statement all to well. 🙂

  1. Darren the Heron was looking for a handout – if no one was there, he’d just have to wade in and do it himself! Better to stay dry – even those waves lapping all around didn’t touch him on his perch. 🙂

  2. Sandra, my first though was Darren the Heron” has a nice ring to it. My second thought was, “oh she has another character for a children’s photo story book.”

  3. Looks like Darren is doing a bit of deep sea (gulf) fishing today – probably contemplating just how deep that water is ha!

    1. Well thank you again Lov Verma, I am a photographer and writing is not my strongest ability, just ask my husband. He is forever correcting me in a nice way of course. I appreciate your corrections and I will change them when you let me know. One never stops learning even at my age. But mistakes we all make, not one of us is perfect. I can give you all sorts of reasons why I can not concentrate, maybe the constant ringing in my ears so I can not sit still long enough to proof read my writings. My photographs speak so many more words then I can write. They are my voice, I just try to help your imagination when viewing them with what few words I use, whether spelled correctly or not. Thank you Lov Verma.

    2. Fisherman is correct, so hating and telling everyone about the hate seems weird to me. The new addition to the dictionary this year is ” Karen” Karen is a pejorative term for a woman perceived as entitled or demanding beyond the scope of what is normal….. now that’s one you should hate Karen oops I meant Lov
