Resting its Foot, at first I thought there was something wrong with its webbed foot. But they can actually get their feet way up there on their backs, because I saw it drop the foot after awhile.

  2. Yes. I seen this some years ago and because I had not seen it before I was concerned too. I watched for an hour until I realised everything was ok and perfectly normal.
    I can watch them all the time because they are beautiful birds to watch in the water.

  3. How majestic! I remember one day when I was alone by a lake in Ireland, a swan swam towards me from the other side. I didn’t know if she was aggressive or not, but she stopped right next to me and we made eye contact, perhaps hoping for some food. That day, I realised how big and impressive these birds are.
